The Cantor Fitzgerald Monthly Price Index moved down to $99.51 in the month
of December, a decrease of $7.91 (7.37%) from last month. While most trading
activities took place in the first two weeeks of the month, discretionary
buying activities dominated the market as we approached the holidays. Many
participants expected the market to drop significantly once the compliance
buyers were statisfied. The market trading range was $97.50 to #103.50.
Overall bearish sentiment dominates the market as most players shift their
focus to the upcoming auction in March.
