Market Beat...
The Cantor Fitzgerald Monthly Price Index moved up $11.99 to $112.82 in
March, an incrase of 11.90% from February. The results fo the annual EPA
Auction were announced this morning. The average purchase price and clearing
prices were higher than generally anticipated in teh market. The average
purchase price for the 1998 vintage auction was $116.96, and the clearing
price was $115.01. (The average purchase price for the vintage 2005 was
$111.05; the clearing price was $108.30.) After the results were announced
that market straddled the average price.
