Emission Reduction Credits - San Diego Air Pollution Control District
Air pollution sources in San Diego County are subject to the rules and regulations of the San Diego County Air Pollution Control District (SDCAPCD). The District is part of the San Diego Air Basin. San Diego County is classified as nonattainment for California's ambient air quality standards for:
San Diego rules mandate that major new sources of NOx, volatile organic compounds (VOCs) (precurors to ozone), and PM10 secure emission offsets.
